Paint Protection Film

What is XPEL Paint Protection Film?

We only use XPEL paint protection products. XPEL is known for unparalleled, high-gloss finish and improved impact protection. Products from XPEL are tested under harsh conditions and can hold up in rain, sleet and harsh road salts used throughout Colorado. PPF is the most comprehensive form of protection you can apply to your vehicle. The use of paint protection film not only protects your paint job from rust and damage, but can help your car maintain that shiny new look. Also known as Clear Bra, it is a virtually invisible, urethane layer that protects your vehicles paint from unsightly damage and maximizes re-sale value. Xpel Ultimate Plus not only protects against rock chips, but also bird droppings, bug acids, tree sap, and especially here in Colorado, Magnesium Chloride.

Gives you peace of mind on the open road, protecting your vehicle from gravel, bug acids, bird droppings, and preventing chips and scratches before they start.

Partial

Partial PPF, often referred to as the “basic” or “track pack” option, is the most affordable level of protection. It focuses only on the areas that receive the majority of direct road debris. This typically includes the full front bumper (or just the forward section), a strip along the leading edge of the hood ranging from 18 to 36 inches deep, the corresponding front portions of the fenders, the side mirror caps or backs, and sometimes the headlights. Because only part of the hood and fenders are covered, a visible horizontal seam runs across the middle of the hood and fenders. It’s a popular choice for leased vehicles, daily drivers on a budget, or anyone who wants minimal rock-chip prevention without spending much.

Front / Full Front

Front PPF (also called “Full Front” or “Full Front End”) is by far the most commonly chosen package among enthusiasts and everyday owners alike. It eliminates the unsightly seam on the hood by covering the entire hood, the entire front fenders, the complete front bumper, the side mirrors, and usually the headlights and fog lights. Some shops also include the A-pillars and the front portion of the roof to prevent chips right at the windshield base. From virtually every viewing angle, the car looks completely untouched—there are no visible lines on the major panels. This option protects the forward-facing surfaces that take roughly 90% of all rock chips and road debris while keeping the cost significantly lower than wrapping the whole vehicle.

Full

Full PPF, sometimes marketed as “full body,” “complete vehicle,” or simply “full wrap,” is the ultimate level of protection. Every single painted exterior panel is covered: the entire hood, roof, trunk or liftgate, all four doors, quarter panels, front and rear bumpers, rocker panels, pillars, and even door edges and handle cups in most installations. When done properly, the car appears exactly as it did from the factory (or in a satin/matte finish if a stealth film is chosen), yet it is completely armored against rock chips, light scratches, bird droppings, tree sap, and UV fading on every surface. This is the preferred choice for luxury vehicles, supercars, hyper cars, show cars, or anyone who intends to keep their vehicle in concourse condition for many years. It is seamless, invisible in clear form, and offers the highest possible preservation of paint and resale value.

Is PPF worth the cost?

Without a doubt! Paint Protection Film (PPF) is well worth the cost as it provides superior protection against scratches, chips, and more, helping to maintain your vehicle's resale value and appearance over time. Investing in PPF can save on costly repairs and repainting, making it a smart long-term investment for car owners.
